Another Hole in One Prizewinner !!!

More great news this time from Wales as another lucky club member nets a cool £5,000. Here’s what Managing Secretary Dai had to say…..

Abersoch Golf Club were extremely grateful to be able to put up 4 Hole in One prizes at the recent Gents Captains Day. Courtesy of Circle Golf the top prize of £5,000 was placed on Hole 6, a challenging 176 yard Par 3 which nestles in the sand dunes. Richard Hoppins, a twenty something handicap player and a member of the club for many years, steps up with his long iron in hand and sends one sailing towards the green. “Nice shot” from his playing partners, but it wasn’t until they got to the green and one of his playing partners finds the ball nestling at the bottom of the cup, did he realise he had aced it!!

Says Richard “I’ve never had a hole in one before, and to get it on such a major golfing day and on the hole with a major prize is fantastic. I would like to thank the club, it’s management and Circle Golf for making my golfing year !! Drinks all round….”
